Wall and Colour is an audio installation where perception is the object of the work. As with James Turrell’s
exploration of light and space, Wall and Colour places the viewers in a realm of pure experience where sound is
perceptually tangible, and each experience of the work is unique to each individual. The installation celebrates
the notion of being in a moment and suggests a sense of meditation and contemplation. It is a work on the
verge of audibility and through each viewer’s exploration, both a heightening of the senses and a quiet stillness
is infused. Through this subtle installation, viewers make their own musical choices encouraged to be in touch
with their physicality as they move through the space in an infinite number of paths, speed and angles.
